The role of the account manager underscores our commitment to provide each client with superior customer service, expansive industry expertise, effective and clear communication, as well as rapid responsiveness and efficient issue resolution. 

Our account managers are responsible for bringing together all program resources to successfully achieve the goals of each client’s managed care program. As the single point of contact for all Bunch CareSolutions resources, the account manager actively oversees all implementations, program services and vendor partnerships according to client-defined protocols. The account manager ensures the consistent application of best practices across all service lines and jurisdictions. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of a client’s managed care program, the account manager also spearheads all special projects and annual stewardship meetings.

In a more consultative role, the account manager monitors program outcomes and identifies enhancements and operational initiatives to strengthen a client’s risk management program. Every Bunch CareSolutions account manager possesses a strong background in workers’ compensation, medical cost containment, as well as proficiencies in client relations, time management, issue resolution, strategic decision-making, outcomes-based management and team-oriented collaboration.

Director of Account Management

The director of account management plays a dynamic role within our client support infrastructure. In addition to managing a set of accounts, each director mentors a small team of account managers and serves as one of the department’s subject matter experts. To leverage proficiencies within our account management team, each director is assigned an area of specialization (e.g., nursing, data analytics and compliance) based on their experience and training, industry acumen and highly developed skill sets. In this capacity, directors assist account managers with developing client-specific medical cost containment strategies, addressing regulatory requirements to promote compliance, and evaluating specific program data sets for more granular informatics. To augment client satisfaction, streamline communication and facilitate rapid issue resolution, each director reports directly to our president and chief operating officer.

Senior Sponsor

As a complement to the account manager role, all clients are assigned a senior sponsor—a member of our executive team who is directly involved in the program. The senior sponsor maintains relationships with various personnel on the client’s risk management team, participates in annual stewardship meetings, resolves issues requiring rapid or C-level decision making and ensures customer satisfaction.
